For an incompressible evolution, Γ is infinity, hence this case is nearly incompressible. In the incompressible case, the evolution of the toroidal magnetic field and the angular velocity have analytic solutions, unlike the other cases which are solved numerically. The ratio of the Alfvén speed over the rotational speed at the surface of the star gives an indication of the relative strength of the seed radial field.
