Part II: Initial Configuration

Here we wish to demonstrate that BHNS mergers may form a SRGB engine under the "right" conditions. This simulation begins with no B-field as in Part I. At time t/M = 2150, the disk is artificially seeded with a purely poloidal magnetic field. The seeded magnetic-field lines follow density isocontours, with an average field strength of approximately 10¹⁴G (1.4M_⊙/M₀).
